Contents Very much like its predecessors, Advances in Modeling the Management of Stormwater Impacts - Volume 5, fifth in this series of monographs, depends upon contributions from authors who present their findings at the international conference on stormwater and water quality modeling. Similar meetings have been held elsewhere and at other times, but, in this present series, which started in 1992, meetings are held every winter in Toronto. Each monograph is produced to the same high standards. Every article is reviewed by two experts, who are listed at the back, and you will agree that we have been blessed by their quality and willingness to do the work. Content is reviewed for accuracy, relevance, merit and readability. Individual authors are involved in making significant changes, where required. Sometimes a great deal of patience is called for. Readers are cautioned, however, not to depend on the review procedures catching all errors and omissions; moreover the editors, publishers and reviewers are clearly not responsible for any opinions, or recommendations in the publication. Subjects covered herein may be subsumed under: continuous models, urban pavement, structures and metering, combined sewer overflows, water quality management, ponds and wetlands, and planning, and the monograph ends with a chapter and CDROM on references in the non-serial literature. For readers who wish a little more detail, the chapters cover:
