- Interfacing 12d with xpswmm & xpstorm.
This 1/2 day workshop will provide attendees with up-to-date information and techniques for interfacing the 12d data for civil design and terrain modeling with xpswmm and xpstorm. In this workshop, users will create a drainage network inside a 12d model, complete with hydrology, and export the system to xpswmm/xpstorm. Transfer will include the pipe network, inlet capacity, surface bypass, hydrologic parameters, catchments, 1d and 2d elements for surface hydraulics and DTM files. The network will be analysed using both Laurenson and Time Area hydrology together with pipe hydraulics. The updated network with results will then be exported back to the 12d model to update the design. Details of the 12d Version 8 drainage mapping file will be discussed showing the user the full extent of user customisation.
